Third district Rep. Kristine Alexie Tutor expressed grief over the death of a supporter who allegedly was shot by a person who was riding in tandem on June 29, 2022 in Guindulman.
In a post on July 4, 2022, Tutor thanked John Engelbert Liao also known as Engelbert Angela Bernaldez for the latter’s support and help extended to the former.
As this developed, Tutor is asking people to inform authorities about what they know about the crime to come out and help in the investigation.
According to reports Liao was shot by still unidentified assailant in Guindulman right after the inauguration rites of Guindulman mayor Ben Balo.
The victim was rushed to the hospital but eventually expired on July 4, 2022, reports add.
Reports indicate that until now the police are facing a blank wall as far as identifying the suspects and the motive behind the killing.
