Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Sec. Erwin Tulfo promised to get to the bottom of an alleged incident that happened in the agency’s Tagbilaran satellite office where reportedly an employee displayed rude behavior against a citizen who was just asking questions.
Tulfo posted in his social media account on July 7, 2022 that he is going to conduct
an investigation related to the incident.
Allegedly, a DSWD employee displayed rude behavior by shouting at a citizen
who was in the office to ask questions.
“Ako po ay nahihiya at humihingi ng paumanhin kay nanay na pinahiya at
pinagalitan umano sa aming DSWD satellite office sa Tagbilaran, Bohol,” Tulfo said.
Tulfo also said that the female citizen was allegedly asking a question from the
DSWD worker, on how the former can join the 4Ps program, as her husband works as a construction worker and she has children who are still in school.
If found guilty, Tulfo vowed to suspend the erring employee because of rude behavior.
