The Bohol Inter Agency Task Force (BIATF) reported that there are 72 active Coronavirus disease (Covid) cases in the province as of July 18, 2022, compared to just 52 cases recorded on July 15, 2022.
There were five patients who recovered from the disease but there are 25 new Covid cases recorded, the information from the BIATF reveals.
The same data show that 26 cases are from Tagbilaran City, while 5 cases are each recorded in Ubay and Garcia Hernandez towns.
The towns of Baclayon, Talibon and Dimiao are reported to have 3 Covid cases each.
Moreover, the towns of Panglao, Carmen, Dauis, Anda and Jagna each tallied 2 active cases of Covid infection.
Meanwhile, the following municipalities each reported to have one person infected with Covid and these are the towns of Alicia, Loon, Sikatuna, Valencia, Alburquerque, Duero, Getafe, Guindulman, Inabanga, Sierra Bullones, Danao, Clarin, Catigbian, Bilar, Buenavista, Calape and Loay.
The Department of Health (DOH) has reiterated its reminder to everyone to continue following the health and safety protocol and to get vaccinated against Covid.
