Barring any last minute hitches, Vice President Sara Duterte-Carpio is expected to visit this province to attend the 168th Bohol Day celebration, according to reports.
In a radio interview, Alyansang Bol-anon Alang sa Kausaban (ABAKA) chairman Norris Oculam confirmed that Duterte-Carpio is slated to arrive in the province as the guest of
honor for the Bohol Day celebration.
Earlier, the name of the vice president was floated as the guest of honor for the Bohol Day celebration on July 22, 2022.
This will be Duterte-Carpio’s first visit to Bohol since winning the vice presidency back in May 2019.
Aside from being the vice president, Duterte-Carpio is also the Education Secretary.
