The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) reported that the trade fair it produced, known as Mugnang Bol-anon, reaped P 7 million in revenues, according to a report of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA).

Before the pandemic, the fair attracted around 190’exhibitors with some coming from neighboring provinces and generated a little over P42.2 million in sales,  DTI Bohol Provincial Director Maria Soledad Balistoy said.

This year, the DTI decided to focus the trade fair to highlight products from local artisans.

Mugnang Bol-anon is the local DTI’s adoption of the national level direction to provide a platform to creative artists, according to the PIA report.
