Chinese ambassador hopes for deeper ties with Bohol after visit

Chinese envoy to the Philippines Huang Xilian hopes that deeper relationship between Bohol and China flourishes following a visit to Gov. Aris Aumentado.

The Chinese ambassador arrived in Bohol on Aug. 2, 2022, for a courtesy visit where he met Aumentado at the Capitol.

Reports say that Counsellor Zhou Tong, Third Secretary Kan Shilai, and Hong Jie, accompanied the ambassador during the visit.

Aumentado said that among those discussed during the visit were the sectors on agriculture, infrastructure and energy.

The visit also discussed the proposed Fishing Village where Bohol is chosen as a pilot area of the said project.

Moreover, Aumentado and Huang also talked about the establishment of industrial parks, which seeks to create more employment opportunities.
