Balilihan mayor Pureza Veloso-Chatto meets Marvin M. Belgica of the Architectural Arts and Built Heritage Division of the National Museum of the Philippines (NMP). The meeting was held on July 29, 2022 where mayor chatto was informed that the Department of Budget and Management (DBM) has downloaded funds to the NMP in the amount of P11 million for the rehabilitation/restoration of the old Balilihan Townhall and Balilihan Municipal Plaza. The bidding for the project is expected within the month. The plaza will be transformed into a tourist center, according to the mayor. Contributed photo
