Jagna’s MAO bags reg’l award

The Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), spearheaded by Wendy Galero, received an Excellence Award for the medium scale category in Central Visayas during the implementation of the Rice Competitiveness Enhancement Fund (RCEF) seeds program.
The award was given during the 2022 Department of Agriculture (DA)-PhilRice RCEF-Seed and Extension Programs Midyear Review on August 5, 2022, at Murcia town, Negros Occidental, the reports indicate.
The Jagna MAO personnel joined the event virtually via Zoom application, according to reports.
The medium scale category comprises towns with more than 1,000 bags up to 5,000 bags of planting materials received from DA, according to reports.
The MAO of Jagna received a plaque and a certificate from the DA.
As it stands, the latest award is one of the achievements of Jagna’s MAO under the leadership of Mayor Joseph Rañola.
