The One Meralco Foundation (OMF) together with partner, the Meralco Employees Fund for Charity, donated solar panels and appliances to Bohol schools on Aug 20, 2022.
Reports say that the foundations distributed solar panels, TV sets, laptops and printers for the schools of island barangays Pandanon, Nasingin, and Banacon in Getafe.
Moreover, barangay Sagasa in Bien Unido town also benefited from the donation from OMF, and partner, the report adds.
The OMF is ready to help the barangays in the province thru its school electrification program, the reports mention.
Key officials of Getafe town and the Department of Education Bohol division were on hand during the turnover of the solar panels and appliances.
