New Corella leadership focuses on solving water supply problem

The new administration of Corella town is focusing its efforts to solve the water supply problem in the town, according to the municipal administrator.

Ed Macalandag, Corella’s municipal administrator, revealed this information during a radio interview over Open Forum on Aug. 22, 2022, hosted by Gloria Araneta and Dave Albarado.

 Moreover, Macalandag said the administration of Mayor Juan Manuel Lim has placed the water supply problem as top priority.

Macalandag added that the town is looking to partner with Bohol Water Utilities Inc. to help solve the water supply problem by boosting the capacity of the existing waterworks system of the town.

Meanwhile, Macalandag during the interview also mentioned agriculture, tourism and business investments as key priorities of the administration of Mayor Lim.

Macalandag is hopeful that the overflow of investments from nearby Tagbilaran City will benefit Corella town.
