Chatto engages in a dialogue with tourism stakeholders in Bohol

Cong. Edgar Chatto engaged in a meeting with tourism industry stakeholders on Aug. 29, 2022, according to reports.

The solon met with the head of the Provincial Tourism Council (PTC) Lucas Nunag to discuss issues related to tourism recovery.

Chatto said that Nunag provided valuable insights regarding the tourism industry recovery in the province.

The first district congressman is the senior vice chairman of the House Committee on Tourism.

Chatto said the Tourism Act of 2009 is up for review as it has been more than 10 years since it was passed and became law.

Meanwhile, in a separate occasion, Chatto met with USec. Shalimar Tamano of the Department of Tourism and discussed several key issues in tourism affecting the Central Visayas region.
