The League of Municipalities of the Philippines (LMP)-Bohol chapter gave Dauis vice mayor Marietta Sumaylo an award of distinction which honors her leadership and service to Bohol mayors during her term as league president.
Sumaylo formally stepped down as LMP president on Sept. 2, 2022 after 3 years at the helm.
She was replaced by Buenavista mayor Dave Duallo as the new mayors’ league president.
Sumaylo is a three-term mayor of Dauis and currently the town’s vice mayor.
During Sumaylo’s term as LMP president, she made an effort to forge closer ties among the Bohol mayors and contributed immensely in the growth and prosperity of the province, according to the award given by the LMP.
