Authorities from the Department of Agriculture (DA) and local officials of San Miguel town led the groundbreaking rites of the future bagsakan center that will soon rise in the said town, reports say on Sept. 6, 2022.

The bagsakan center has a budget of P9 million and eyed as a tremendous help for farmers of the said town and the neighboring areas.

The groundbreaking ceremonies took place on Sept. 3, 2022, the reports indicate.

In this bagdakan center, farmers will be able to sell their products at a more favorable price as consumers may purchase the farm produce at a cheaper price, according to reports.

Moreover, the bagsakan center will allow the farmers to keep their products fresher and more attractive to buyers, the reports add.

San Miguel mayor Ian Mendez is thankful to the DA for spending its budget for the construction of the said bagsakan center in his town which is expected to be completed in 8 months.
