The local government unit (LGU) of Buenavista decided to allow ONLY vaccinated persons to participate in the various activities related to the upcoming town fiesta.
The town is celebrating its annual fiesta this Oct. 7, 2022.
In a post, Mayor Dave Duallo said that based on the recommendation of the Local Health Board and the Provincial Health Office the LGU is allowing only vaccinated persons in social gatherings , sporting events and other similar activities during the town fiesta.
“Ang LGU Buenavista nakahokom nga ang paapilon sa tanang kalihokan-socials, sports ug uban pa- sa umaabot nga fiesta ang kadto lang nabakonahan na,” Duallo said in a post that was released, today, Sept. 8, 2022.
Thus, he is urging everyone who is planning to participate in various activities or events related to the fiesta to have himself/herself vaccinated.
The mayor said that the Coronavirus disease (Covid) vaccines are available at the Municipal Health Office.
