<strong>Chatto’s office facilitates orientation for TUPAD beneficiaries in Loon, Tubigon</strong>

The office of Cong. Edgar Chatto facilitated the orientation of the beneficiaries of the Tulong Panghanapnuhay sa Ating Disadvantaged/Displaced Workers (TUPAD) in the towns of Loon and Tubigon, both of which are from the first district of Bohol, according to reports.

Officials from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and the respective local government units of Loon and Tubigon were also on hand for the orientations held on Sept. 20, 2022.

The TUPAD program provides temporary employment displaced workers, underemployed and seasonal workers.

The office of the first district solon has been facilitating the program of the DOLE as part of Congressional oversight function.

DOLE’s TUPAD program is the temporary solution of the agency to help workers who were displaced from work or lost their jobs due to the pandemic or any other reason, reports say.
