Asymptomatic travelers may enter Bohol w/o vax cards, Aris says

Gov. Aris Aumentado issued Executive Order (EO) 32 series of 22 which mandates the lifting of the requirement of presenting vaccination cards for travelers who wish to enter Bohol.

This new order, signed on Sept. 21, 2022, is applicable only for travelers wishing to enter Bohol who are asymptomatic, the EO adds.

Prior to the issuance of the new EO, all inbound travelers to Bohol are required to show their vaccination cards before entering the province via sea or air travel.

As the cases of Coronavirus disease (Covid) have been declining and some provinces are no longer requiring the inbound travelers to present their vaccination cards, the governor decided to issue the new EO.

The new entry protocol will surely help Bohol for its economic recovery, the EO said.

Inbound travelers showing Covid symptoms shall be asked to present their vaccination cards at the point of entry and will be allowed to enter Bohol nonetheless.

The travelers who are symptomatic and unable to present a vaccination card will be required to seek medical attention and required to disclose certain information for contact tracing purposes, the EO mentions.
