The Alturas Group of Companies (AGC) is reminding the public about the Pink Run 2022,
which is an activity to raise awareness about breast cancer prevention.
The run is slated on Oct. 22, 2022 with the carpark at the Island City Mall (ICM) as the starting
and finishing line.
According to the National Breast Cancer Foundation, every 2 minutes a woman is diagnosed
with breast cancer.
With this fact, it is high time to create more awareness among people on the value of early
detection to prevent breast cancer mortality.
The Pink Run 2022 is part of the activities being done in the observance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month which happens every month of October.
The Pink Run 2022 is being spearheaded by ICM in cooperation with the City Government
of Tagbilaran and the Provincial Health Office of Bohol among others.
The Pink Run 2022 is open to all ages, and both amateur and professional runners.
The registration fee is only P300 with free t-shirt, bib, and freebies.
The gross proceeds from the Pink Run 2022 will go to breast cancer patients and other
indigent beneficiaries.
Registration is now going on until October 5, 2022 at the Consumer Welfare Desks of ICM,
Alturas Mall, and Plaza Marcela.
