The Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation of Bohol is set to stage a 3-day provincial congress from Sept. 29 to Oct. 1, 2022.
This was disclosed by SK-Bohol federation president and Board Member Christian Victor Bolos in a radio interview on Sept. 22, 2022 over Open Forum program hosted by Dave Albarado.
Moreover, Bolos added that the congress will be held at the Bohol Tropics.
The SK federation president quipped that the purpose of the congress is to gather the various SK chairpersons across the province to listen to speakers who are capable of providing information and answers to issues or problems in governance.
The congress will be inviting resource persons from different agencies to provide answers to the questions of SK chairpersons from different barangays in the province.
Bolos said that this is the first time the SK-Bohol federation will be having a congress upon the advice of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG).
The idea of having a congress was hatched during a meeting among him and the DILG officials.
Bolos expects that all 1,109 SK chairmen from all barangays in Bohol will be joining the event.
The SK federated president of Bohol said that his office has been accepting registration from the various participants.
