Cong. Edgar Chatto lauded the appointment of former Chief Justice Lucas Bersamin as the new Executive Secretary.
In a Facebook post, Chatto posted a photo of him together with Bersamin and congratulated the former for his appointment to the key government position.
Bersamin was appointed by President Marcos Jr. on Sept. 27, 2022 and this appointment was confirmed by Malacañang.
In a statement, Press Sec. Trixie Cruz-Angeles said Bersamin immediately went to work after he took his oath of office before the President.
Bersamin replaced lawyer Vic Rodriguez after the latter resigned early September 2022.
Meanwhile, Chatto joined the tourism industry and tourism stakeholders in celebrating World Tourism Day on Sept. 27, 2022.
The annual celebration highlights tourism as a major contributor to the global economy.
