Department of National Defense (DND) Undersecretary for Philippine Veterans Affairs Office and Chairperson of Task Force Balik-Loob (TFBL) Reynaldo Mapagu visited the 47th Infantry Battalion (IB) based here in Bohol, according to information released by the said military unit.
The 47th IB is based in Camp Rajah Sikatuna at barangay Katipunan, Carmen, Bohol.
The report said that Mapagu’s visit was done on September 25, 2022.
The DND official met with Brig. Gen. Leonardo Peña and Maj. Jason Torino, the report mentions.
Moreover, Mapagu also had a meeting with the officers of the 47th IB regarding the implementation of the Enhanced-Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-CLIP) and other Balik Loob related activities.
It can be remembered, Bohol is being eyed to become the headquarters of the Visayas Command as the Armed Forces of the Philippines expressed interest to relocate the command of its forces in the Central Visayas region from Cebu City to this province.
