<strong>ICSC provides critical info to House panel on climate change</strong>

The Institute for Climate and Sustainable Cities (ICSC) provided critical information via a briefing session to the members of the House Committee on Climate Change on Sept. 27, 2022, according to reports released on Sept. 29, 2022.

ICSC deputy executive director Kairos Dela Cruz briefed the members of the said House committee chaired by Cong. Edgar Chatto.

Reports say that the briefing was about climate finance, specifically direct access funds, growing the Multi-Actor Partnership (MAP) network on climate and disaster risk finance and insurance (CDRFI), and accountability of climate finance in the Philippines.

Moreover, the energy policy and health in relation to climate change issues in the country were also discussed.

The briefing was organized through the office of Chatto, the report adds.
