<strong>Marina eyes new office in Panglao</strong>

The Maritime industry Authority (Marina) is looking at establishing a new office in the town of Panglao, Bohol.

This is according to reports on Sept. 30, 2022 saying that the Marina Regional Office 7, headed by Engr. Emmanuel Carpio, has decided to create an office in the tourism hub of Bohol.

The said extension office will be located at the old town hall fronting the St. Augustine Parish Church in barangay Poblacion.

The new office will serve the public’s needs in relation to maritime activities especially in Panglao town, the report adds.

Moreover, Carpio said that it is the objective of Marina to bring its services closer to the public, thus the need of a new extension office.

The Marina is the main government agency tasked to develop, promote and regulate the maritime industry in the Philippines.
