Tagbilaran CEO rolls out new infra projects

Aside from the groundbreaking of the Tagbilaran City Coliseum and the Manga Barangay Hall,
the City Engineering Office (CEO) is rolling out other infrastructure projects as reported by City Engineer Teodoro Estoque.
Phase 3 of the Tagbilaran City College and Phase 2 of the New Cogon Market have started,
along with improvement works at the Integrated Bus Terminal (IBT).
The terminal is getting some improvements with its roof and comfort rooms.
The installation of modern streetlights at Pamaong and Belderol streets was recently completed and four new locations were added.
Modern streetlights will be installed in M. Parras Extension, T. Butalid Street, Ubujan-Taloto-Booy Road, and Ramon Enerio to CPG East. Road concreting in M. Torralba and Belderol streets are also on the pipeline.
The CEO recently completed the improvements at Tiptip Barangay Hall.
Big ticket projects in the future are also lined up such as the rehabilitation of the Old City Hall,
Tenement Housing, and the Public Cemetery.
Tagb holds Family Health Day Summit 2022

The local government unit (LGU) of Tagbilaran is conducting the Family Health Day Summit 2022 with the theme “Buntis Alagaan, Bata Ampingan” at the Tagbilaran City Hall Atrium on September 17, 2022.
Various health programs of the office were discussed to participants which included Maternal and Child Health Care Program, Family Planning Program, Nutrition Program and Environmental Sanitation Program, among others.
The activity was spearheaded by City Health Officer Dr. Jeia Pondoc and was graced by City Mayor Jane Yap.
The mayor provided assurance to the participants that the family’s health and well-being is among her priorities.
Participants of the activity were the pregnant and post-partum mothers and parents of families with malnourished children.
Food packs and maternity kits were given to all the participants. City Health Information Officer
Robin Reyes Culpa said the activity is focused on capacitating mothers on the value of proper nutrition and family planning.
