<strong>15 Balilihan women to get US livelihood training</strong>

About 15 women from Balilihan will be undergoing training courtesy of the United States Department coursed through a non-government organization (NGO).

This was disclosed by Dalareich Polot during an interview over Open Forum on Oct. 4, 2022, hosted by Ardy Araneta-Batoy and Dave Albarado.

Moreover, Polot said she pushed for having some women from Balilihan to get livelihood training with the help of Spark Philippines, an NGO.

She said that her group is working with lady mayors like Balilihan mayor Pureza Veloso-Chatto to help underprivileged women become economically productive.

The chosen participants will start their training this month and are expected to finish the course by January 2023, Polot said.

She added that 15 women from Tagbilaran City are chosen to participate in the training.

Furthermore, Polot bared that the livelihood training will be facilitated by an American university.
