CHO’s Robin Culpa recommends wearing of face mask as protection vs. Covid

Robin Culpa, the spokesperson of the Tagbilaran City Health Office strongly recommends that people should still wear face masks despite a new order coming from Malacañang.

This was his pronouncement of Culpa during a live interview over Newsmakers ug Uban Pa on Oct. 31, 2022.

The spokesperson said that wearing face masks can help protect people from other diseases such as allergies, monkeypox, chickenpox, and other contagious respiratory diseases.

His statement comes as Malacañang released a new executive order where it is mandated that wearing of face masks is now voluntary both indoor and outdoors.

Culpa said that face mask wearing remains a huge help in protecting oneself especially against Coronavirus disease (Covid), which remains a public health threat.
