A fiesta goer figured in an accident which resulted to his death at barangay Danao, Antequera town on Oct. 29, 2022, reports from the police bare.
It was also reported that 8 other persons got injured as a result of the freak accident involving the collision of a motorcycle and a tricycle.
The fatality was identified as a certain Joshua Neil Quejada while his companions Adrian Quebic and Reynaldo Omayao both of barangay Totolan, Dauis were injured. Quejada was the one driving the motorcycle.
Moreover, the driver of the tricycle was identified as Jonas Buligao, from Clarin and his injured passengers were Lucia Patoc, Jenifer Buligao, Sali Patoc, Rasel Corion and Edmund Arcales.
Apparently, the motorcycle figured in a head-on collision with the tricycle after the former took an overtaking move and went to the opposing lane and collided with the incoming three-wheeled vehicle.
The persons who got injured were rushed to a nearby hospital after sustaining minor injuries, but Quejada was unlucky as he lost his life. (Joshua Fullido)
