BPPO spokesperson becomes new Dauis police chief

The spokesperson of the Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) has been chosen as the new police chief of the Dauis police station.

In a post, the Dauis police station announced the appointment of Lt. Thomas Zen Cheung as the new police chief.

Cheung, 24, is a native of Tagbilaran City and he is replacing Lt. Yolando Bagochay Jr.

Meanwhile, Bagochay is the new chief of the Provincial Drug Enforcement Team and now based at Camp Francisco Dagohoy.

On the other hand, Cheung remains the spokesperson of the BPPO and started during the tenure of former provincial director Col. Osmundo Salibo.

Salibo who held the leadership of the BPPO for nearly 2 years was replaced by Col. Lorenzo Batuan. Salibo is set to retire from active police service this month.
