A former Bohol Police Provincial Office (BPPO) gets promoted as lieutenant general of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and a step closer in becoming a full-fledged general in the national police force.
Former Board Member Ricky Masamayor confirmed that Lt. Gen. Felipe “Pipoy” Natividad received his third-star insignia just recently.
Cong. Edgar Chatto, in a post, congratulated Natividad on the latter’s promotion as a three-star general.
“Congratulations Gen. Pipoy for the much deserved promotion! My family and I together with our friends in Bohol are so proud that another feather is added to your cap. Keep on soaring higher. Malapit ka na sa PNP Chief. God bless and stay safe!” the solon said.
Currently, Natividad is the acting head of the Area Police Command of Northern Luzon after his stint as the chief of the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO).
Natividad started his stint in Bohol in July 2016. He headed the police operations that hunted down the Abu Sayyaf infiltrators in April 2017.
He was instrumental in maintaining the peace and order in Bohol during the ASEAN summit meetings held in Panglao town also in 2017.
After his tenure as BPPO chief, Natividad was assigned to Camp Crame in 2017 and was replaced by Col. Angelito Geñorga.
