A barangay kagawad yielded alleged shabu to police following a drug buy bust operation at Madua Norte, Duero town on Nov. 17, 2022.
The police identified the suspect as Leandro “Boy” Bernil, 40, of Purok 3, Madua Norte, Duero, Bohol.
He is an incumbent barangay kagawad of the said barangay and classified as a high value target.
Elements of Duero police station recovered alleged shabu weighing 0.80 grams and with an estimated value of P 5,440.
The inventory of the evidence was conducted at the place of arrest and witnessed by the barangay officials and media representatives.
Charges of violation of the Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed soon against the suspect.
