The National Irrigation Administration (NIA) staged a 2-day irrigators’ congress here.
The chief of staff of Cong. Edgar Chatto, lawyer Abeleon Damalerio, was among the speakers of the said congress.
The congress, held on Nov. 17 and 18, 2022, attracted some irrigators from Bohol, Siquijor and Cebu.
Aside from the irrigation congress, there was a planning session among irrigation association officers held at the sidelines.
The office of Cong. Chatto has been providing strong support to farmers knowing agriculture remains one of Bohol’s top economic drivers.
