A Boholano reportedly emerged as the 5th placer in the civil service examinations given by the Professional Regulations Commission (PRC).
According to reports, Vincent Decelo Cagampang, earned a rating of 93.35%, in the examinations taken on Nov. 21, 2022 in several testing centers.
Cagampang finished his degree at Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP) and his father hails from Magsaysay, Sierra Bullones. The family now resides in Manila.
In a post, the PUP acknowledged the success of Cagampang saying: “What a delightful day to celebrate the success of the board exam passers! It takes hard work, courage, dedication, learning, studying, sacrifice, and, most importantly, a passion for what you do. Success is stumbling from failure to failure with no loss of enthusiasm. It is defined by contentment rather than prosperity.”
Around 8,029 examinees successfully passed the examinations for civil engineering out of 20,407.
