Talibon town is on the top of the list among Bohol towns with the most number of dengue patients, according to the report of the Philippine Information Agency (PIA).
Talibon town has more dengue cases than Tagbilaran City, the capital of the province, as recorded in the later part of 2022.
According to data, there are 320 cases of dengue patirnts in Talibon, where Tagbilaran City comes in at 2nd with 256 cases.
The data is from January to Nov. 20, 2022 and collected by the Provincial Health Office. The data show that Anda comes in at 3rd with 122 cases followed by Ubay at 4th with 105 cases and Sagbayan is at 5th with 101 cases.
Health authorities urge the people to clean their surroundings to get rid of dengue-causing mosquitoes to lower the chances of contracting the disease.
