The champion’s trophy of the 1st Benjie Oliva Tennis Tournament held in Catigbian.
The 1st Benjie Oliva tennis tournament culminated successfully with the doubles team of KharlVincent Yamut of Baclayon and Arnel Melloria of Inabanga emerging as winners. The team won a trophy and the cash prize of P15,000.

The event was held from Dec. 2 to 4, 2022 at the Catigbian Tennis Court in Poblacion, Catigbian.
The tournament was ably supported by the local government unit of Catigbian headed by Mayor Elizabeth Mandin.
Oliva went out of his way to sponsor the event in order to discover talents that could compete in the national level representing Bohol.
In the past, he said, there have been talents from Bohol who excelled in tennis in the national level.
He hopes that with the tournament providing exposure, there could be athletes from the province who are good enough to bring home the bacon.
