Tagb’s fire dept. gets new ambulance

City Mayor Jane Yap and former Mayor John Geesnell “Baba” Yap turned over a brand-new ambulance to the Tagbilaran City Fire Station represented by City Fire Chief Ben Bradpitt Lopez on Dec. 13, 2022 at the City Hall.

The new ambulance is equipped with an automated Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation machine, Chest Compression machine, Automated External Defibrillators, and a portable Electro Cardio Gram.

Mayor Jane Yap is grateful for the all-out support of the Bureau of Fire Protection Director Louie Puracan and Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benhur Abalos to Tagbilaran City.ce

Mayor Yap said that the City Government will always put importance on the safety and protection of the Tagbilaranons.

“We have always placed importance on the safety and protection of our constituents, and this can be seen in the budget allocation of the City Government – from free immunizations, vaccines, medicines, and protective equipment. We have even modernized our command center to efficiently respond to emergencies. We aim to establish resiliency in Tagbilaran as outlined in our vision.”

This newest addition would provide the necessary reinforcement to the existing emergency response vehicles of the City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (CDRRMO).
