A police officer was arrested by personnel from the Bohol Police Provincial Office allegedly for robbery of a gasoline station in Trinidad town.
The suspect was arrested on Dec. 17, 2022, according to reports.
The arrested police officer is identified as Staff Sgt. Conchito Payac Jr. and assigned at Dauis police station. He is 33 years old and a native of barangay Aguining, CPG town.
According to reports, Trinidad police received a robbery report that a gasoline station in the town at purok 4, barangay Poblacion, Trinidad was being robbed by a suspect.
The police in Trinidad conducted a hot pursuit operation against the suspect.
It was found out that the suspect is also allegedly behind the robbery in Alicia and Duero towns.
Based on the footage, it was positively identified that the suspect was also behind the robbery in Alicia and Duero.
Reports say that the suspect was positively identified by an employee of the Trinidad gasoline station.
The suspect is now in the custody of the Trinidad police station as he is facing proper charges.
