Bohol Tribune marks 8th year anniversary

The Bohol Tribune, Bohol’s fastest growing newspaper, marks its 8th year anniversary this month of December 2021.

Readers say that the newspaper, which started in 2016, has become a significant player in the newspaper industry in Bohol and has consistently been outpacing several competitors, not only in terms of the promptness of news publication, the quality of the content of materials published, and the creative and technical presentation design for the layout, but also in the number of pages and copies being circulated.

And to think that the paper is only eight years old versus other establishments in the industry that have been in existence for decades.

“PASSIONATE ON NEWS and DEEP ON INSIGHTS” is the trademark of the paper and this has inched its way into the hearts of the Boholanos.

Even if The Bohol Tribune is a young player, it has continuously exceeded expectations and continuously blazed the trail in the Bohol media industry making this sector, NOW, as one of the most exciting avenues of communication.

With the woman power and prowess of Ardy Araneta-Batoy at the helm as the paper’s managing editor supported by lawyer/writer/educator Greg Austral and authentic/schooled journalist Dave Albarado in the editorial board, The Bohol Tribune, by now, is the most innovative newspaper in the media industry here in the province. This is not to mention the pool of section editors and columnists which the paper has.

The newspaper has also invested in online journalism making it available to the public here, abroad and around the world. This way, people outside Bohol, who are without access to the physical copy of the newspaper can get Bohol news and information using their computers and other gadgets.

Furthermore, Open Forum, the radio program produced by The Bohol Tribune consistently provides listeners and subscribers information, entertainment, opinion and news about Bohol. This radio activity acts as an extension service of the newspaper.

As the newspaper enters another year, bolder moves are in store for the public. The latter has to expect more surprises in 2023.

We at The Bohol Tribune remain true to our core values of truth and integrity. We remain fair and honest in our transactions and we vow to serve the public to the best of our abilities.

The newspaper’s editorial board will constantly look for new technologies to improve our printing abilities as we always maintain quality of the paper.

The Bohol Tribune uses only quality materials to suit to the needs of the readers and the general public–this is our way of expressing our love and respect for our readers and sponsors.

We are also grateful to some of our competitors who copy our innovations because they are making us more relevant.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
