The pilgrim relic of St. Therese of the Child Jesus will again visit  Bohol after almost five years.

Reports say the relic will be making a stop in Bohol from Feb. 19 to 20, 2023.

The stop is part of the pilgrimage of the relic in the different dioceses in the Philippines that will start on Jan. 2, 2023 at the Military Ordinate of the Shrine of St. Therese and end on Apr. 30, 2023 where the relic departs for Lisbon, Portugal.

Organizers have yet to announce the exact venue in the Diocese of Tagbilaran where the relic shall stay but during the last visit it stayed at the St. Joseph’s Cathedral and also in Talibon.

The last time the relic visited Bohol was in April 2018

During that time, the faithful lined up for hours to catch a glimpse of the relic on display.

Prior to 2018, the relic of the miraculous saint also visited Bohol in 2008 and stayed at the Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Church in Dauis town as local fishermen reported bountiful catch  following a procession of the relic.

The fish supply was so abundant that some fishermen decided to give away their catch based on the account of Fr. Jose Sumampong.
