Local fire probers send evidence to nat’l BFP

Local fire probers reportedly have sent samples of evidence such as the remains of the burned houses, soil and ashes to the national office of the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) for the office to determine the real cause of the conflagration.

Reports say that the local fire department have sent the pieces of evidence to the national office as all angles are being pursued including the possibility that the incident was a case of arson.

It can be remembered that three people, Remedios Baluca, Edgar Manzano, and Myer Manzano died in the fire that erupted along Gallares street in Poblacion 2 on Dec. 23, 2022.

Around 75 families are affected by the said fire which erupted two days before Christmas Day.

Based on the statements of some residents and of some unverified information, the huge fire may have been caused by persons engaged in a love triangle. This angle, though, is still being verified.

The probers are also considering the possibility that the fire might have been caused by an accident due to electricity misuse.

The local fire probers still await the test results coming from the national BFP and will immediately relay the pieces of information to the public as soon as they are available.
