BENJIE S. OLIVA

Former Cooperative Development Authority (CDA) administrator Benjie Oliva and companions fulfilled their promise to Poblacion 2 fire victims as they distributed cash and school supplies to around 70 children, in an event on Jan. 4, 2023.

Benjie Oliva is the president-elect of Rotary Club of Pasay Cyber City while his wife Joan is the immediate past president of the said organization.

Oliva fulfilled its promise to the fire victims together with staff members of the office of Coun. Melvin Torralba and members of the Metrowalk Eagles Club.

Oliva earlier promised to provide school supplies to the children who went back to school last Jan. 4, 2023.

It can be remembered that a huge conflagration erupted along Gallares street in Poblacion 2 on Dec. 23, 2022 affecting 75 families and killing 3 persons.

Earlier, the Oliva couple gave members of the Seaside Neighborhood Association (SEANA) P50,000 in cash as assistance.

Moreover, the Olivas committed to help Greaymar Manzano, another fire victim, by providing the latter a scholarship grant until he finishes college.
