Personnel from the Tagbilaran City Police Station (TCPS) conduct various outreach programs in the city to prevent child abuse crimes and to get closer ties with the community at large.

In a belated report, it was learned on Jan. 10, 2023, that there was a lecture on anti-child abuse conducted which was participated IN by learners from Tagbilaran City Central Elementary School.

The lecture focused on providing guidance to children on the kinds of actions an adult does which are considered illegal.

Thus, the children can be more aware of their rights and readily log in complaints before the police if they are being abused by adults.

The TCPS personnel are committed to provide these kinds of lectures to learners  to make them aware of their rights under the law.

In this program, members from the religious sector together with the police gatherED people to a meeting.

The goal of the meeting that happened at barangay Bool focused on the efforts of the police, religious sector, and the community for a more holistic and values-oriented transformation in the country.
