Alturas malls, stores allow entry of pets

Pet owners and lovers have good reasons to smile as they can now bring along their favorite pets inside any malls and stores under the Alturas Group of Companies (AGC). except the one located at Alturas-Tubigon.

Starting January 15, 2023, pets particularly domesticated dogs and cats are now welcome at Island City Mall, Alturas Mall, Alta Citta, Plaza Marcela, and Alturas-Talibon.

The pet owner must secure a pet pass by registering online. Just scan the QR code or click the link http://bit.ly/3vTLVcO to register, and become familiar with the rules.

Pet owners must get the pet pass at the Customer Service Counter of any AGC malls/stores by presenting the original copy of the pet’s updated vaccination record, plus a photocopy of the page containing anti-rabies vaccination, and two 1”x1” colored photos of the pet.

The pet pass covers only one (1) pet and is valid only for one (1) year reckoned from the pet’s last date of anti-rabies vaccination. The expired pass can be renewed at the Customer Service Counter.

At the mall/store entrance, the pass must be presented to the security guard. Moreover, pet owners are required to have their pets on a leash or in strollers within the mall premises, and must cover chairs with paper or cloth when dining at pet-friendly restaurants. All pets are highly encouraged to wear diapers while inside or within the mall premises.

When riding up and down the escalators, pet owners must carry their pets. Strictly, pets are not allowed in the service elevator.

Mall/store management reminds pet owners of their responsibility for the proper care of the animals. Pet owners must ensure that they shall have full control and exercise complete supervision over their pets at all times. This way their pets will not pose any damage, harm, danger nor injury to any person or property while inside or within mall premises.
