An extravagant destination wedding on a tropical island in the Philippines is being hijacked and the entire party is taken hostage in this hilarious, action-fueled romantic comedy, “Shotgun Wedding”, now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
Darcy (Jennifer Lopez) and Tom (Josh Duhamel) are couple who take their respective feuding families to a perfect destination to celebrate their wedding. Once the couples’ meddling family members meet, they quickly have second thoughts about walking down the aisle. But things quickly go awry when everybody is held hostage by a group of gun-wielding thugs.
Now the couple must work together to save their loved ones, and family members who were once at war are forced to depend upon one another to get out of the situation alive.
