 “Knock at the Cabin” at Screenville Cinemas

From world-renowned and Academy Award-nominated director M. Night Shyamalan comes another apocalyptic thriller about an innocent family forced to sacrifice one of their own to save humanity, “Knock at the Cabin” is now showing at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.  

Adapted from the 2018 horror bestseller, “The Cabin at the End of the World” by American author Paul Tremblay, the film is about a happily married couple and their 7-year old adopted daughter who are held hostage by armed intruders while vacationing in a remote cabin deep in the Pennsylvanian forest. Fil-Am Hollywood star and former professional wrestler Dave Bautista (“Guardians of the Galaxy”) stars as one of the four strangers who come knocking at the door of the family’s cabin, asking them to execute one member in order to avert the apocalypse. The world is about to be destroyed by a series of fiery cataclysms, and that the only way to stop this is if the family chooses one member to be sacrificed for the greater good.

“Ant-Man 3” at Screenville Cinemas

The third installment from Marvel Comic’s “Ant-Man” film series, following the blockbusters “Ant-Man” in 2015, and “Ant-Man and the Wasp” in 2018, “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” will premiere worldwide on February 15, at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.    

Superhero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd-“Ghostbusters Afterlife) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly-“The Hobbit” film series) continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Along with their family, they are transported to the Quantum Realm and pits them against Kang the Conqueror who can manipulate time and space.             Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), including Lang’s daughter, the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.

“QUANTUMANIA” will premiere worldwide on February 15, at Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall.
