<strong>UB honors nat’l. LET topnotcher</strong>

University of Bohol (UB) President Dr. Victoriano B. Tirol, III, awarded the cash incentive and certificate of recognition to Rosmarie Rosales Bariñan.

Bariñan is graduate of Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) and 6th placer in the October 2, 2022, Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET), Elementary Level.

The awarding of incentives was done in a simple ceremony held at the President’s Office on February 1, 2023.

Dr. Janice Aurora T. Namoc, the dean of the Teachers College, said that Bariñan garnered an average of 93.40% to clinch the 6th place.

The University was able to eke out a 100% passing percentage among the first takers of the BEED licensure examinations.

For the October 2022 examination, UB posted an overall passing rate of 55.36% in the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSE) test as compared to the national passing rate of 50.94%.

The University registered an overall passing rate of 62.59% in the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) examinations as compared to the national passing rate of 54.45%.

Giving cash incentives and certificates of recognition are part of the tradition of UB to encourage its students to become achievers in their field of endeavors.
