Around 3 houses were gutted after a fire erupted in purok 2, barangay Mansasa in the afternoon of Feb. 12, 2023.
The City Fire Department is still conducting an investigation on the cause of the fire.
According to reports, the houses of Emmanuel Veluz, Arnulfo Caputan and Desiree Gonzalez were gutted by the fire.
Reports say that the damage caused by the fire was pegged at least P912,000.
The fire erupted around 3:45 pm, Sunday afternoon, and the fire was placed under control around 4:20 pm. The fire fighters declared a “fire out” at about 4:35 pm.
Meanwhile, City Mayor Jane Yap provided relief goods to the fire victims in Mansasa.
She was busy monitoring and checking the condition of the victims of the fire.
The fire at Mansasa is the first fire incident that happened in Tagbilaran City in 2023.
