At least 1.4 million peso worth of materials alleged to be shabu were seized by authorities IN DAUIS following a drug buy bust operation that took place on Feb. 11, 2023 according to a belated report released on Feb. 13, 2023.
Police identified the suspect as a certain Alan Remolador Olalo, 53, jobless, and a resident of purok 4, Basak Taloto, Tagbilaran City.
Olalo was identified by the police as a high value target man based on authorities’ database of drug suspects.
Initial investigations say that the suspect was arrested in a buy bust operation at purok 7, barangay Mayacabac, Dauis town.
Seized from the suspect were around 207 grams of materials believed to be shabu with a street value of 1,407,600 pesos.
The suspect is now facing charges of violation of Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Meanwhile, in Panglao, a certain John Paul Clemen was arrested following a buy bust operation on Feb. 10, 2023.
Around 204,000 PESO worth of material suspected to be shabu WERE confiscated from the suspect in an operation at barangay Looc, Panglao.
