<strong>Damalerio authored Ordinance for incentives to Boholano topnotchers gets approved at the SP</strong><strong></strong>

The Sangguniang Panlalawigan (SP) of Bohol approved on third and final reaading the proposed ordinance granting incentives to Boholano topnotchers in the bar or board examinations in the country.

The said measure was passed during the regular session of the provincial board on Feb. 14, 2023 where a cash  incentive, aside from plaque of appreciation and commendation coming from the SP, will be given to Boholano bar and board examinations topnotchers.

The said measure was sponsored by First District Board Member Aldner Damalerio in order to provide encouragement to Boholano examinees who aim as topnotchers in their respective bar or board examinations.

The examinee who places as top 1 in the bar or board examinations shall receive P100,000 as incentive, based on the proposed ordinance.

 A successful examinee who ends up ranked as top 2, or top 3, or top 4 or top 5 shall receive P75,000 as cash reward.

Moreover, a successful examinee who ends up ranked as top 6 or top 7 or top 8 or top 9 or top 10 shall receive P50,000 in cash incentive.

Moreover, the topnotchers in the bar and board examinations shall be given priority slots when it comes to job opportunities in the Provincial Government of Bohol, the proposed ordinance adds.

In order for the topnotcher to be eligible for the cash reward, he or she should be a Filipino citizen, a registered voter in Bohol, and someone who graduated from any academic institution located in the province, the proposed ordinance mentions.

The proposed ordinance will now then be transmitted to the Office of the Governor for signing. Once signed by the governor, the proposed ordinance gets included in the list of laws enacted within the jurisdiction of the province of Bohol.
