The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Bohol provincial office has obtained its International Standards Organization (ISO) 9001:2015 certification.
The DAR office here was able to pass the accreditation and obtain the said certification after complying with the necessary requirements, reports say.
DAR Sec. Conrado Estrella III received the said certification on behalf of the provincial office and turned it over to officials of the said office in a ceremony held on Feb. 20, 2023 in Panglao town.
The ISO certification is given to organizations to qualify them to analyze and improve services provided to the public, according to reports.
In his speech, the DAR secretary lauded the provincial office for its achievement and urged other offices within the department to emulate Bohol’s example.
Moreover, Estrella visited Bohol on Feb. 20, 2023 to lead the distribution of certificates of Land Ownership Award to at least 500 farmer beneficiaries across Bohol.
The said DAR official also turned over machineries & pieces of farm equipment to farmer beneficiaries in an event at the Bohol Cultural Center on Feb. 21, 2023, reports add.
