BISU Balilihan Campus, Huawei Philippines forge partnership for quality education

Bohol Island State University (BISU) Balilihan Campus and Huawei Philippines have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to enhance their collaboration and support the improvement of program quality, efficient resource utilization, better goal alignment, and the production of world-class human resources.

The signing ceremony was held on March 7, 2023, at the BISU Balilihan Conference Room. The MOU was signed by BISU Balilihan Campus Director and Huawei Philippines representative.

According to BISU, the MOU will pave the way for more opportunities for BISU Balilihan students and faculty members to access Huawei’s technologies, trainings, certifications, scholarships, internships, and employment programs.

The school said that Huawei Philippines is committed to empowering BISU Balilihan Campus as one of its partner universities in advancing digital transformation and innovation in education.

BISU Balilihan Campus is one of the satellite campuses of BISU that offers various degree programs in agriculture, engineering, education, arts and sciences. It was formerly an extension class of BISU Tagbilaran City Campus that started accepting enrollees in 2006.

Huawei Philippines is a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices that operates in more than 170 countries.
