The Coastal Conservation and Education Foundation (CCEF) met with the Provincial Government (PGBh) on Monday, March 20, announcing their goal to revive the Danajon Bank Double Barrier Reef Management.

The Danajon Bank is the only double barrier reef in the Philippines, rich with marine biodiversity, and is part of the Bohol Global Geopark.

CCEF’s initiative is in partnership with the Gerry Roxas Foundation (GRF), the United States Agency For International Development-Investing in Sustainability and Partnerships For Inclusive Growth Regenerative Ecosystem (USAID INSPIRE), and the Wildlife Conservation Society.

The PGBh commits to helping CCEF with its initiative to protect the Danajon Bank Double Barrier Reef from environmental devastation as part of the Strategic Change Agenda.

This is a great initiative to protect the Danajon Bank Double Barrier Reef, which is the only double barrier reef in the Philippines and is rich with marine biodiversity.

The partnership between CCEF, GRF, USAID INSPIRE, and the Wildlife Conservation Society is a great example of how different organizations can come together to protect the environment.

The PGBh’s commitment to helping CCEF with its initiative is also commendable.
